The pitcher is fine but not the thermometer clip, which was the selling point that I used to justify the $20 cost. It was not attached well to the pitcher and was broken off when it arrived.When the box arrived I was excited because I have been frothing in a Pyrex measuring cup and a thermometer clipped to it with a binder clip. As soon as I picked up the box I heard it rattling around and to my surprise even though the box was carefully packed, the thermometer clip was laying inside the pitcher.The two little spot welds (or whatever it is called) are visible, but just were not done well enough to hold it on. I noticed the same method is used to attach the handle and it seems very secure.Amazon has such a great return policy etc. that I was able to get a thermometer and clip with a less expensive pitcher, though.Take my advice and stick to the old way. This is a great idea, but the execution needs to be rethought.

Let's start with why 4 stars and not 5. The only complaint I have is that the clip for the thermometer gets in the way when I'm cleaning it after using it. That's it - the one complaint. Otherwise, It's great. The quality of the finish and guage of stainless steel used are both quite good. The size is great for a single latte - frothing about a cup of milk. The spout is great for my continued lame attempts to make latte art. And the clip for the thermometer works really well with the Rattleware 5 inch frothing thermometer. I'm very happy with this purchase and it doesn't seem as though the clip for the thermometer is in any danger of falling off.

This Rattleware frothing pitcher is made of heavy gauge high quality stainless. Not like most which are made with super thin stainless. I also purchased the 5-inch Rattleware thermometer and it fits nice and snug in the red silicone clip.
