This filter basket fits in a Cuisinart EM-100, but it is not the actual Cuisinart product. Based on my conversations with Cuisinart (to include pictures), this basket has WAY too many holes in it (hundreds). The actual Cuisinart EM-100FBS, according to pictures they sent me, has only a single tiny hole in the bottom, which I wouldn't think would be sufficient to allow the coffee through but in fact it actually works like that. The inside of the cup appears to have hundreds of holes, but if you turn it over there is only one that is actually drilled/punched through. So per the other reviewer's comment, not only are the holes too big, there are hundreds too many of them. On the bright side, you can actually make espresso with it, but how it tastes compared to Cuisinart's objective might be a disappointment.

This doesn't work with the EM - 100 Cuisinart. Don't buy it. The holes at the bottom are so big you get all this junk in your cup. Plus it is not a single cup filter, it is much bigger. A waste of money."

this product works well with the cuisinart espresso maker i purchased. i imagine after a while it will crack like the one i had to replace but its worth it for the morning up and go!
