Pricy for what it is and quality leaves more to be desired

This brush should have come with Chemex in the first place as there is no way to clean the carafe without it (and you want to clean with after every use).Cleaning head of the brush is not nearly durable enough and have developed a number of cracks in the wood - see attached pics. I will look for something made out of plastic once this one breaks.

While I'm not 100% satisfied with the quality of this brush (the wood under the bristles seems unfinished and the bristles are a bit too stiff), it is the only one I've found that reaches the corners at the bottom of my Chemex.
