The item is used for storing coffee (a "solid") but its size is listed as 19 oz FLUID. I expected it to hold a pound of coffee but it holds a bare 8 oz. I have contacted Amazon about this and I am awaiting their reply. Why measure a container for a solid using a liquid measure? Gave 3 stars since it is a nice container, just too small.
