I bought this as a last minute replacement to a more expensive brand that broke. The inner glass lined thermal layer kept my coffee hot for hours, and when I forgot about it when I walked out of the door to go to work, I was pleasantly surprised that the next morning (at least 24 hours) the coffee I forgot about was still warm! Not hot mind you, but warm enough if you were in a hurry.

I love this little carafe! I wasn't sure what to expect from such an inexpensive container, but I thought I'd give it a try, figuring I'd return it if it didn't work out. I'm very glad I did. I've been very impressed with this carafe, keeps my coffee piping hot all day! I preheat the carafe first by putting hot/boiling water in it for a minute or so, pour that out (back into our water-heating pot for reuse later so nothing wasted), then pour in my freshly-made French press coffee. Pre-heating the Oggi means my coffee is still steamy hot 24 hours later! I love the glass liner, easy to clean, I just swish it out with hot water and it's sparkling clean and shiny again. The outside stainless is easy to keep clean also, though it doesn't need it much as it seems to resist fingerprints and grime so usually looks clean and nice on my counter. Had it now for about 6 months and works and looks brand new. The only minor issue I had was after I used it for about 3 or 4 months the glass liner somehow tipped a little inside, causing the top to leak a little when pouring, but I just unscrewed the bottom part, adjusted the glass liner so it was straight again, and screwed it back together. Been working perfectly again since. Great value!

I use this at work and it works great.You have to make sure you add the hot water and let it set in coffee pot, pour out hot water and add your coffee pre-made and it will stay hot for hours!
