The tops do not always seal sufficiently to prevent hot water from exiting the top and going everywhere. You have to remember the Koreig needs to develop pressure to brew coffee. If the top does not seat properly, the pressure causes water to leave from the top and not the bottom. The coffee does not exit a single small pin-size hole in the bottom, not enough pressure builds up even with a proper seal on the top and you get a VERY weak cup of coffee.It does not take long before the mesh screens become coated with old coffee before you need to let them soak for a day or two in cleaner. Replaceable filters would be far better. Cleaning would also be easier if you could just toss the filter and old coffee grounds.

I, for the life of me, can't get a decently strong cup of coffee. I bought Starbucks Sumatra K-Cups and fell in love. I was finally satifisfied.Then, I bought the Solofill (3 of them) and I am sorely disappointed. Even with the Sumatra, the brew is WEAK. The basket is small, and the nipple in the bottom just wastes brewing ability. DO NOT BUY.Now, I have to find out if I can return this $45.00 mistake. I should have bought 1 and tested, but I read all these wonderful reviews. I wonder if they were all employees!

Way to pricey for 3-plastis cups with lids! Don't know if most people would want to try and guess how much coffee to put in it to get it right strength.
